Ceiling Fans and Fixtures

Fan rated boxes, correct downrods, zero wobble. New locations, high ceilings, and statement fixtures hung level.

What it is

In Arizona a ceiling fan is climate equipment, not decoration. A correct install starts with a fan rated box, because a standard light box will not hold a spinning fifteen pound machine for long. We install and replace fans, hang statement fixtures and chandeliers level, add fan controls, and run new circuits for rooms and covered patios that never had one.

When you need it

  • A room or covered patio has no fan and no box
  • The current fan wobbles, clicks, or hangs off a light box
  • A foyer or great room fixture needs a lift and a real brace
  • You want the fan and light on separate switches

How we run it

01

Box check

We verify or install a fan rated box and brace. This is the step handymen skip.

02

Mount

Correct downrod for the ceiling pitch and height so blades clear and air actually moves.

03

Controls

Separate switching, speed control, or a remote, wired so it all works from the wall.

Questions

Usually yes. The box gets swapped for a fan rated brace box, and if you want the fan and light switched separately we can often fish the extra conductor without opening the wall.

Yes. Angled mounts, long downrods, and lift work on two story foyers are routine, and we hang heavy fixtures level to the sightline, not just to the bubble.
